Napili Kai Beach Resort

Location

The first thing that you should know about Napili Kai Beach Resort - the beach here is one of the best on the West Side for swimming and snorkeling. Many units have a view of the Pacific, with neighbor islands Molokai and Lanai in the distance.

The one- and two-story buildings with double-hipped Hawaii-style roofs are spread over 10 very lush beachfront acres, so you'll never feel overcrowded. Napili Kai Beach Resort is a traditional resort, so expect flaming tiki lamps and palm trees, along with the relaxed feel of old Hawaii.

You will be 5 miles away from Kaanapali and 9 miles from Lahaina. Maui's main airport, Kahului (OGG), is 36 miles away, and Kapalua Airport (JHM), which offers limited flight schedule to and from Honolulu, is 3 miles away.

2. Rooms

Hawaiian-style rooms are done in sea-foam green, mauve, and rattan; shoji doors open onto your lanai, with the beach and ocean right outside. The rooms closest to the beach have no air-conditioning, but ceiling fans usually suffice as the front doors are all vented to allow for the cool tradewinds to flow into your room.

Napili Kai Beach Resort is very quiet and noise-free, the only sounds you will hear are the waves and the birds. Keep the lanai doors open all the time, so the waves can lull you to sleep, and the sunshine bird songs can wake up up.
