1. Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and Spa, St. Thomas
Why We Love It: Carved into a mountainside overlooking the ocean, this all-inclusive resort offers the spectacularly romantic backdrops of both the beach and the mountains. Obviously it’s lovely or it wouldn’t be on our list… but Sugar Bay also has something for everybody, making it perfect for the couple with a wide range of (or varying) interests.
Why You’ll Love It: The “Anthony and Cleopatra Sensuality Journey” offered in the onsite spa is not to be missed -- an exotic, candle-lit milk bath for two, this steamy pleasure is heavenly on its own and absolute paradise when paired with an Ultimate Couples Massage.
Why You Might Leave Your Room: Water babies and sun worshippers can splash their way through inter-connecting pools (complete with cascading waterfall), a private beach, and a huge variety of water sports (an onsite dive shop can hook you up), while the sports-minded will find heaven among a glamorous fitness center, 18-hole championship golf course, and tennis stadium with lighted courts. Gourmet dining and an art-deco nightclub cater to everyone.

The resort caters to those who enjoy romance and luxury, two of our favorite things.
Why You’ll Love It: Each room features its very own plunge pool or swimming pool, perfect for a private dip just outside your room with your newlywed.
Why You Might Leave Your Room: Ladera’s pool and deck area overlook the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea, a supreme setting you may recall from Superman II. They're keen to why newlyweds may have worked up an appetite, therefore cocktails and snacks are served poolside to curb cravings. You're also within 15 minutes of Sulphur Springs -- the world's only "drive-in" volcano, as well as the Diamond Waterfall Botanical Gardens, and The King Louis XVI Mineral Baths.

5. The Beach House Barbuda
Why We Love It: So maybe you’ve never even heard of the island of Barbuda (it’s close to Antigua and Nevis). That won’t matter once you step foot onto the island’s pristine white and pink shores. With only 21 suites at The Beach House, exclusivity reigns supreme here, as does personal service. We love that we feel more like a guest at a private residence than like a guest at a hotel, and we’re also fans of the remarkable underwater exploring. The island is known for world-class snorkeling, and with nearly 200 sunken shipwrecks in the crystal-clear waters along Barbuda’s shores, it’s no wonder why.
Why You’ll Love It: If you’re the type who has dreamt of your honeymoon since before you could walk, this is probably exactly what you envisioned. Endless blue skies and seas, super seclusion on what seems like your own tropical island, breezy white linens, and the ultimate in personal service – heck, you even get your own Personal Service Ambassador! The world is basically your oyster (no sea pun intended) at this Caribbean paradise. You can dine on your own private deck, on the deck next to the saltwater pool, in the Clubhouse, or indulge in an ultra-relaxing massage a deux. Or simply stroll hand-in-hand down the 18 miles of white and pink sand beaches.
Why You Might Leave Your Room: If you really feel the need to ditch paradise for even more paradise, shimmy on over with your honey to the far side of the island and witness one of nature’s strangest phenomena’s by embarking on a Sink Hole tour. Inside the vast depression lies a complete sunken dense tropical jungle. Adventurous honeymooners also might enjoy going back to their roots by taking a cave tour at the Caves at Two Foot Bay. Or, opt for a nature tour, where you’ll spot turtles, deer, wild boar, donkeys, red-footed tortoises, and birds. Fishing and cycling, as well as horseback riding down unspoiled beaches, are just a few more options.
6. Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies
Why We Love It: The Four Seasons has a reputation for world-class luxury for a reason, and it's no more evident than at this top-notch resort in Nevis. 8. Bucuti Beach Resort, Aruba
Why We Love It: The European-charm, attentive and friendly staff, great location, and reasonable rates lure in many, but what keeps guests coming back year after year is the beach. Perhaps one of the best and most tranquil anywhere in the world, you'll enjoy soaking up some rays with your honey.
Why You’ll Love It: Intimacy. There are very few if any children so you’re guaranteed a peaceful, beautiful stay (no offense, kiddies!), and the hotel is located on the most secluded part of Eagle Beach, complete with lush landscaping.

Why You’ll Love It: The unique location offers a wide range of activities, from lazy days exploring the beach to exciting nightlife. Three freshwater swimming pools, two on-site restaurants, including an open-air beachfront cafĂ©, and full-service activities coordinator will keep you as occupied as you wish to be.
Why You Might Leave Your Room: Sporty couples can cause a "racquet" on the tennis courts or head for the water for scuba diving and snorkeling excursions, surfing, windsurfing, and kiteboarding.
10. Fernandez Bay Village, Bahamas
Why We Love It: The come-as-you-are vibe and personal service are hard to match, and the 15 oceanfront villas, strung along a cozy mile of sugary beach and nestled between the whispering Casurina pines and blooming hibiscus, are divine.
Why You’ll Love It: If you're a laidback kind of couple who enjoys the finer things in life, you'll love the shoes-optional candlelit dinners on the beach terrace, complete with a blazing bon fire. The beachfront tiki-bar runs on the honor system and guests keep track of their own libations. Cheers!
Why You Might Leave Your Room: You'll be enticed to kick back in a hammock for a lazy afternoon of sun-soaking and napping; however snorkeling, fishing, diving, biking, canoeing, kayaking, boating, and picnicking might just tear you away.
