4. Things to do

  • Pool
Lounging by the pool will probably be one of your most favorite activities on this vacation. It is pretty large, water is heated, and the area around is nicely landscaped. You can order drinks and food from the poolside cafe. Try one of their lava flow cocktails, they are excellent!

There are also 2 hot tubs right nearby, as well as a children's wading pool

  • Golf
You will love Maui's newest course, Dunes at Mauna Lani. Designed by Robin Nelson, this is like a classic Scottish course, but in lush tropical setting. This course has spectacular mountain and valley views of West Maui and Halelakala Crater. It has some of the most interesting golfing holes in Hawaii.

Some of the most interesting golfing holes in Hawaii are here. The first couple and the final holes are on the open plains exposed to the 15-25 mph tradewinds, but most are in the sandy dunes forest. This popular links course offers lots of options to the player as it has lots of pot bunkers in key positions on each hole and around the greens, giving it a "Scottish feel" but in warm weather. You'll enjoy this challenging new course and the reasonable rates. The Dunes also offers one of Maui's best target practice facilities with large greens.

    Hotel facilities include:
  • 2 lighted tennis courts
  • Activities desk (7:30am-5pm)
  • Sundry shop (8:30am-9pm)
  • Complimentary shuttle within Kihei area
  • Free washers and dryers on each floor
  • Dry cleaning and laundry service (fee)
  • Free parking with lots of spaces

where you’ll enjoy more space and jet nozzles in the bathtub. Deluxe alcove suite has a separate sitting area with a foldout double bed. 1-bedroom suite has separate bedroom and living room.
